If you've recently moved, turned 18, earned your U.S. citizenship, or have simply never done so before, you can register to vote at the Prospect Heights Public Library!
You'll need two forms of identification, one with your current address on it. You must actually reside at this address - it cannot be a business address or post office box.
The last day you can register and still be eligible to vote in March's primary elections is February 21st.
Acceptable forms of ID include:
- Illinois Drivers License or State ID
- Social Security Card
- Utility bill in your applicant's name
- Valid US passport
- Employee or student ID
- Credit card
- Birth Certificate
- Mail postmarked and addressed to you.
Visit the Cook County Clerk's election website to view your sample ballot and for other voting information.
