Pay Fines and Fees by Credit Card

Overdue fines, and lost materials and processing fees may be paid by credit card using Illinois e-Pay. You can access e-Pay via the LIbrary's homepage at www.phpl.info under the My Account tab on the left menu. View e-Pay Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's).

Macy's Museum Adventure Pass - Free @ Your Library!

The Museum Adventure Pass, presented by Macy's, offers Prospect Heights Library cardholders free admission to local museums, zoos and historical sites in a first of its kind partnership libraries in the greater Chicago area. The program is designed to enhance the learning experience for people of all ages through books and other library materials, and to provide access to arts and cultural organizations. More about Macy's Museum Adventure Pass.

Try Instant Librarian--Our Instant Messaging Service

If you have a quick question and need an answer fast, try Instant Librarian, our Instant Messaging (IM) reference service. IM is real time text based communication which allows you to contact a librarian over the Internet. Simply visit our website at www.phpl.info and click on the Instant Librarian tab on the left. If you have questions for the Adult Department, use the PHPL ADULT box. If you have questions for the Youth Department, use the PHPL Youth box. This service will be available from 30 minutes after the Library opens until 30 minutes before the Library closes. Staff may be unavailable at busy times.

Food For Fines: Thanksgiving thru January 31

Donate non-perishable food items in lieu of paying overdue fines through January 31. All donations will benefit the Wheeling Township Food Pantry. At least three items should be donated per $5.00 of overdue fines (only overdue fines are eligible). Overdue fines are not required, all donations are welcome. Please check expiration dates before donating.

Downloadable Audio Books, E-books and Videos!

You asked for it, and now you've got it! The Prospect Heights Library has joined with a group of libraries to provide audiobooks, e-books and videos that you can download directly onto your computer. The service is called MyMediaMall because it really is one-stop shopping! You'll find the latest audiobooks like The Scarpetta Factor, The Lost Symbol and many, many more!
