Teens come join us in the July 4th Parade.. A planning meeting is scheduled for June 28th from 4-5 P.M. . Bring your ideas and materials for creating a spectacular poster, placard or bike or wagon, or whatever you would like to do to promote a book or program even maybe just to walk. Get the committee’s approval and you’re set to go.
Read for a Lifetime is the State Library’s highly acclaimed reading program designed specifically for high school students. The primary goal of the program is to promote the enjoyment of reading by encouraging students to read both classic and contemporary literature. Each student who reads at least four titles from a reading list during the school year receives a certificate of achievement signed by Secretary of State and State Librarian Jesse White. A new reading list has just been posted at the State Library website
