An Abundance of Katherines by John Green (YA GRE)
Colin, a child prodigy, has a thing for Katherines. He has dated-and been dumped by- 19 of them. The last Katherine has left him so devastated that Colin and his best friend Hassan decide to take a road trip to ease the pain. They end up in Gutshot, Tennessee and Colin decides that he will finally become a genius (and get the girl) by writing the Theorem of Underlying Katherine Predictability.
